- There is a low cutting rate which allows the audience to explore another country and culture which they haven’t seen before.
- Also there is good lighting throughout which gives it an artistic edge, making the video seem happy despite there being a little boy walking around with complete strangers.
- The video mocks real world problems such as deprivation and poverty.
- Also there are no extra effects on the visuals making it seem realistic and creating verisimilitude.
- Close ups on the child in the chorus, showing him as the protagonist against the evils of the world.
Justice- D.A.N.C.E- 2007
Directed by Jonas & François
- Use of effects and cartoons are artistic.
- There are close ups on the t-shirts of the actors and some of the video is displayed onto that.
- Transitions are used effectively to switch to different shots.
- There is a colour drain around the border of the video; this amplifies the action at the centre.
- Throughout the video no faces are shown, keeping it artistic as well mysterious.
The xx-
Islands- 2010

- Colour balance on the video to make it visually gripping.
- The video is just a reply of about 6 seconds, however each reply someone is taken out.
- A dance that is replicated each time is interesting and artistic.
- Mise en scene such as costumes amplify the huge X.
